Training for TT Professionals
Thanks to generous support from the National Biopharma Mission and BIRAC, TechEx.in is happy to be able to offer a limited number of competitive studyships/funding support packages for budding technology transfer professionals associated with either BioNest incubators or as TechEx.in’s Strategic Partners. The following programs are available:
Program 1: Support for RTTP Course
Supports:
- Subject to availability of funds, to support 70% of the participation fee of RTTP credit bearing courses organized by STEM Global for full-time team members of BioNest incubators and those who have signed MoU with TechEx.in to become Strategic Partners
Conditions:
- Subject to availability of funds after meeting TechEx.in team training needs
- Only for STEM Global/ India programs
Eligibility:
- Only for full-time team members of BioNest incubators
- Only for BioNest incubators who sign MoU to become Strategic Partners of TechEx.in
- Only for Non-Profit Academic and Research Organizations who sign MoU to become Strategic Partners of TechEx.in
Indicative selection criteria:
- Commitment for and likelihood of completing RTTP credits and seeking certification.
- Recommendation of Head of BioNest incubator indicating plan to utilize TT capabilities.
- Recommendation of Head of Non-Profit Academic and Research Organizations indicating plan to utilize TT capabilities.

- Appendix 1: Recommendation letter from Head of the Institute with commitment to pay 30% of the course fees (mandatory to be sent without which application will not be eligible)
- Appendix 2: Receipt of payment of Course Fee (this should be sent after selection decision has been communicated from Venture Center Team)

Program 2: TechEx Fellows
Supports:
- Subject to availability of funds, to organize an experiential training program in Tech Transfer & IP for full-time team members of WZ Strategic Partners (who have signed MoU with TechEx.in)
Conditions:
- Max 4 fellows per year
- Duration of training: 6 weeks, full-time
- Top-up fellowship of consolidated Rs 30,000 for 6 weeks period (TBC)
- Will be part of TechEx.in Peer-to-Peer Network for info sharing
Eligibility:
- Only for full-time team members of WZ BioNest incubators
- Only for WZ BioNest incubators who sign MoU to become Strategic Partners of TechEx.in
Indicative selection criteria:
- Recommendation of Head of WZ BioNest incubator indicating plan to utilize TT capabilities.
- Commitment to building TT/IP capabilities as evidenced by past efforts.
- If volumes are high, then other criteria shall be developed and used
